-----Program History-----
Created spring 1999 in 1 min after a flash of inspiration!

----Description----
A useful programming tool for TI-86 BASIC programming.
This may also work for other calcs, I'm not sure

Have you ever wanted to be able to test for the existence of a variable from TI-Basic or recall variables without knowing if they exist? NOW YOU CAN! This program (FlagSet) demonstrates how to do just that using the list variables on your calculator.
  This program could be used not only to test if a variable exists; it could also be used to store information.

I have included two programs that demonstrate how FlagSet can be used. They are Distance and Rad. I am sure that they demonstrate only one of many ways that it could be possibly used.

-The Distance prog finds the distance from one set of points to another in radical form and calls Rad to simplify the result.
-The Rad program can be run to simplify a radical by itself by typing Rad and pressing enter at the home screen.

-I can't take credit for either of these programs (Distance and Rad) since I didn't write them and I don't know (remember) who did.

-I did however, modify these programs to work with FlagSet.

----How to Use FlagSet.86p with a program------

Send FlagSet.86p to your calc
- in your prog if you want the var FLAG to be 1 store {777.777} to FLte
- next run the standalone/module prog
- in the standalone/module prog run FlagSet and test for the value of FLAG
 - at the end of the standalone/module prog you may want to delete the var FLAG (personal pref)

- if you want FLAG to be set to 0 then just make sure that FLte(1) does not equal 777.777 by deleting FLte
 that should not be a problem however, since FlagSet automatically deletes the variable FLte.

-----For Your Convenience-----
Here is the source code to FlagSet

:0=>FLAG
:1=>dimL FLte
:If FLte(1)==777.777
:1=>FLAG
:DelVar(FLt

note: => refers to the Sto> button on the calc
